RTEAN Vows Partnership With Kano Govt To Boost Transportation
The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), has pledged to work closely with the Kano State Government to enhance and modernize the transportation system in the State.
The newly elected Chairman of Kano State Chapter of the association, Comrade Auwal Bello Isma’il Danhajiya made this commitment during a courtesy visit paid to the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, at the Government House on Thursday.

In a statement signed by the association’s secretary, Comrade Tijjani Ahmad, the chairman outlined the new leadership’s agenda, which aims to reform and improve transportation operations across the state.
Comrade Danhajiya appealed to the administration of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for support in upgrading motor parks, improving sanity, cleanliness and orderliness in transport hubs, and creating job opportunities for thousands of youths through the transport sector.

According to the statement, Deputy Governor Gwarzo congratulated the new executives and assured them of the state government’s full cooperation and support towards advancing the activities of RTEAN and the transportation system in Kano State.
