Decision Of my Son To Join APC Is Entirely Personal – Atiku Clears Doubt

Former Vice-President and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar has cleared doubt of his supporters about the recent story of his son action of joining the ruling All Progressive Congress APC party.

Abubakar who wrote through his social media handles on Thursday, he said it’s a matter of personal decision, and as a democrat, he cannot coerce his own children or Nigerians in matters of conscience.

According to him, “the decision of my son, Abba Abubakar, to join the APC is entirely personal.

“In a democracy, such choices are neither unusual nor alarming, even when family and politics intersect.

“As a democrat, I do not coerce my own children in matters of conscience, and I certainly will not coerce Nigerians.

“What truly concerns me is the poor governance of the APC and the severe economic and social hardships it has imposed on our people.

“I remain resolute in working with like-minded patriots to restore good governance and offer Nigerians a credible alternative that brings relief, hope, and progress. -AA

Recall that Atiku Abubakar has dumped his party PDP for the ADC, due to internal crisis that strongly persuade it to fall apart, by witnessing a massive defection of its state governors and leaders.
