Mansur Gawuna Joins NDC, Declares Interest For Nassarawa Federal House Of Reps

Mansur Isa Gawuna, a former Kano State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor’s office, has joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), declaring intention to contest for the House of Representatives, Nassarawa Federal Constituency.

Mansur Gawuna who Declared his interest amid growing realignment in the Nigeria’s political landscape, has vowed to deliver credible representation for his constituents, if elected in the forthcoming election in 2027.

In a statement he signed personally, and made available on Saturday, the former SSA said:

“After careful consultation with stakeholders and supporters across Nassarawa Federal Constituency, I, Mansur Isa Gawuna, formally announce my departure from the ADC and my registration with the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC).

“I have joined the NDC to align with a party structure that reflects the aspirations of our people for accountable representation, grassroots development, and unity. Under the platform of the NDC, I will contest for the position of Member, House of Representatives, Nassarawa Federal Constituency in the forthcoming elections.

“My focus remains on education, youth empowerment, agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure for all communities in Nassarawa Local Government Area. I look forward to working with NDC leadership at ward, LGA, and state levels to deliver credible representation,”

Mansur Isa Gawuna was a Kano State seasoned politician from Nassarawa local government, who served as Governor’s Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor’s office during Ganduje’s administration.
