Gombe APC: Senator Goje Head To Court, To Challenge Ticket Compromise
Former Gombe State Governor, Senator Danjuma Goje has rejected the “consensus” process by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that resulted in a senatorial candidates in Gombe state.
Goje said the process was unfair and unacceptable, underminig democratic process. He is, therefore, planning to take legal action to challenge the result.
Senator Danjuma Goje, former Minister Isa Ali Pantami and Senator Ahmed Alkali, have rejected the compromise announced by Governor Inuwa Yahya, to field candidates for the gubernatorial and national assembly elections’ describing it ‘unacceptable’.

Top politicians in the State have announced plans to challenge the compromise, saying it is against the principles of their party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Inuwa has declared Jamil Isyaku Gwamna as the gubernatorial candidate of their party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) for 2027 election.
The move could spark a major political crisis in Gombe state, especially as the 2027 general elections approach.
