Politicians Responsible Of Thuggery In Kano – Barr. Hikima
A Kano State based lawyer, Barrister Abba Hikima has accused politicians over the rising political thuggery which resulted in the loss of lives and properties around Kano State.
According to him, the gangs doesn’t know their rights, as the politicians have denied them access to education, and other rights things that can assist them to build a meaningful life.
“Politicians are the ones who are responsible for the gangs in Kano. They give them money and drugs. They get them out of the police custody after they are arrested.
“They even go to jail to get them out. They have denied them education, employment and profession, let alone knowing their rights.

“If this is really happening, at the first stage, there is a need for the Kano governor AKY as the chief law officer of Kano, to stop roaming around with gangs in Kano,” the lawyer stressed.
The lawyer advised the governor as a leader of all in the state, to ban all forms of thuggery to restore peace and order across the state.
“Then he should publicly forbid all his associates, even members of the opposition parties, since he is the leader of everyone, from roaming around with gangs and weapons.
“Doing this is in compliance with the Public Order Act which prohibits even raising a stick in public,” Barrister Hikima said.
