A famous Hausa Film actor in Kannywood Industry, Sadiq Sani Sadiq has called on Nigerians, especially northerners, to speak out against the increasing number of terrorist attacks in the country.

The actor said it is time for the nation to wake up and show the government its concern over the dire situation under the present administration.

In a viral video he posted on his social media account, Sadiq Sani Sadiq urged northerners to look at how their fellow citizens in the South have come out and staged peaceful protests to challenge the government over its failure to provide security across the country.

“My brothers and sisters from the north, look at the violence that is happening in Nigeria, 95% of it is happening in the north, while 5% is happening in the south, but see how our friends from the south came out and held peaceful protests to show their anger, and their message went where they wanted it to go. But we northerners folded our hands and watched and could not come out.

The actor said that the community must unite and come out to show this government, saying that the message will never satisfy the government whether it is through writing articles or broadcasting videos to inform it of what is happening, but the only way is to come out and protest.

According to him, everyone in the north must come out in struggling to seek a better future for the future generations.

“There are five things in the struggle, whether you seek a better future for your children and grandchildren, or you flee and leave the country, or you are beaten, or you are imprisoned, or you are killed. All these things, if they don’t happen to us, they happen to our brothers and sisters.

“We hear and see our brothers and sisters being chased and killed in their homes in northern Nigeria, we are not even allowed to go to the farmland and cultivate. In northern Nigeria, our mothers and daughters are being raped, in front of our eyes we hear and see.

In northern Nigeria, our top military officers are being captured and killed, we hear and see, most of whom are northerners, is that what we should look at and watch? Sadiq said with great concern.

The actor who said that 95% of the country’s politicians do not love the community, but only cares of their children and wives, said that most of them do not care even about their parents, let alone the community. He therefore called for peaceful protests without causing chaos to show the Bola Tinubu government its incompetence, and demanded that it be reformed or immediately step down.
