Eid Message: We Are About To Gather To Pray For The Curse Of God – Sheikh Ameenudeen

Sheikh Muhammad Ameenudeen Abubakar, the Imam of the Da’awah Mosqu, has declared that the Muslim community is about to gather in the Mosque, to pray for the curse of God, on all those who are behind the current situation of unrest, especially in northern Nigeria.

Sheikh Ameenudeen disclosed this during a sermon he delivered after the Eid-el fitir prayer of the year 1447 AH, which he led today, Friday, 1st of Shawwal, 1447 corresponding to 20th March 2026, at the Da’awah Mosque in Kano.

The Imam, who began his sermon with a call to fear Allah the Almighty, said that it was regrettable that there were incidents of killing people, especially during the Ramadan, due to the acts of kidnappers, how they abduct people and demand ransom, after which they kill the victims.

“There are terrorist attacks that kill people, both Muslims and Christians, kidnappings and killings affect us, but it is being said that Christians are being massacred, but there is no leader who will come forward to defend the religion of Islam against this accusation.

“What is the use of electing you to represent us if you will not defend our dignity?”

“Whatever your position is, if you do not give glory to the religion of Allah, then you are of no use in Nigeria and in the sight of God,” Sheikh Ameenudeen said.

He challenged the officers who are being used to arrest people, just because they came out and spoke the truth about the situation.

“What is the point of arresting me? If you chained my hand, my legs or even killed me, but you can’t stopped me from saying the word Shahada. If you kill me, there are thousands who will rise.”

Regarding the current crisis in the Middle East, he condemned the plots of America and Israel which are responsible for the strife, which has led to the loss of many of lives.

Sheikh Muhammad Ameenudeen raised several issues of the pressures of life that the community has been thrown into, including corruption, poverty and the high cost of living in Nigeria, while the leaders are trying to make it hereditary, so that unfortunately you will see their children roaming around, distributing money and property, and in another areas they are distributing mats to the people.

Finally, the claric who hope for God’s guidance to Nigeria’s leaders, he prayed that Allah the Almighty would grant Nigeria, a good and compassionate leaders, and hoped that a certain people who are rumored to have been allocated huge sums of money to buy them before the 2027 elections will not succeed.
