Gawuna Resigns As Board Chairman Of Federal Mortgage Bank
Former Deputy Governor of Kano State and 2023 APC gubernatorial candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, has resigned from his position as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.

A statement issued by the former deputy governor indicated that the resignation will take effect from tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

In the statement, Gawuna said that he was resigning in compliance with the directive of the President requiring all political office holders who wish to contest for the post to vacate their positions in compliance with the electoral law.
In a letter sent by Gawuna to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Gawuna thanked President Tinubu for his confidence in his appointment as the Chairman Governing Board of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria FMBN.
